Traffic was heavy but moved well all along the commute and I didn't see any FHP Cruisers out running ambush this morning. Have A Great Day Everyone! I grew up listening to Walter Cronkite on the evening news. He was the voice of calm when all else were horrified by the Kennedy Assassination. He was the voice of enthusiasm when reporting on NASA's missions. Walter earned the title "the most trusted man in America" because of his professional experience and kindly demeanor. Although he reported many
POLICE IN CHINA have stopped and questioned a motorcyclist after he was spotted riding his motorcycle without any ARMS. Liu Yeung, 27, from Jimo, was nabbed by authorities after he was seen on a specially modified bike. Police say Yeung had modified the machine himself to overcome his disability. Officer Zhang Jie said: "It was only when we stopped him that we realized he didn't actually have any arms. He had fitted a
This mornings Motorcycle Commute to Tampa was in-between lines of strong thunderstorms and on wet roads. It has been thunder-storming all night long here in FlatLand and the ponds and rivers are near full capacity after a month of daily rains. Traffic was heavy for a Monday Morning and I didn't see any FHP Cruisers along the commute. Have a Great Day everyone!

I came across these photos while surfing. Seeing as how folks are always finding "faces" on strange objects like slices of toast or a pile of puppy surprise, I thought I'd share these here. First is the standard photo of Machu Picchu. See the face? Ok, lets rotate the image counter-clockwise by 90 degrees.
This is update to the update of the original post on this NetBook. I?m really digging this NetBook. That said, I?ve picked up another battery to extend the useable battery life of this jewel. The stock battery is 2200mAh lithium ion, and delivers about an hour of serious use with heavy hard disk usage or about two hours of just browsing the web. The new battery is 7200mAh lithium ion, and has four times
The morning Motorcycle Commute to Tampa was a nice ride on this Friday morning. Temps in the 70's f., low humidity and a beautiful sunrise made the commute go by way too fast. Traffic was moderate for a Friday and the FHP Cruisers were out running radar ambush, as usual. It's Friday in FlatLand, Have a Great Day Everyone!
The U.S. State Department?s Undersecretary Patrick Kennedy. Staff at the State Department have been requesting permission to use Firefox as their default internet browser because of it's robust security features, ease of customization through add-ons and extensions and it's speed. At a State Department townhall conducted by Secretary Clinton, a staffer asked why Internet Explorer is mandated, even though Firefox is security-approved for the "entire intelligence community." The answer? A whole lot of bullshit, especially the insane
I enjoyed another very nice ride during the Motorcycle Commute to Tampa this morning. The Clear Sky's with a brilliant red sunrise in the mid 70's f. made it as comfortable a ride as you can hope for. Again today, we have 40% chance of thunderstorms which is about the norm for FlatLand this time of year. Have a Great day everyone.
Sometimes, If you?re lucky, one's reminded just how interesting and beautiful their home really is. I watched the space shuttle Endeavour launch on the Tube and looked out the lanai glass doors to see the space shuttle Endeavour over my neighbor's roof as she moved skywards spewing the giant exhaust plume, till out of site. I sat here and smiled with amazement and wonder knowing the crew were enjoying one hell of a ride that will take
The Morning Motorcycle Commute to Tampa was a fine ride in 77 degrees f. with thin clouds and an amazing red sunrise. Traffic was moderate to heavy and moved well for the most part. I came up behind several pair of cagers running side-by-side blocking both lanes, completely oblivious to the fact that traffic was piling up behind them while they apply their makeup and text message their friends. I didn't see
Bastille Day is the anniversary of July 14, 1789 that marks the beginning of the French Revolution, when a revolutionary mob stormed the prison of La Bastille setting in motion an unstoppable chain of events that would ultimately overthrow France?s absolute monarchy and have a wide impact in world events. The Revolution of 1789 marked the very first time in world history when the People took power in their own hands by violent means but with a very complex and well articulated ideology.
The morning Motorcycle Commute to Tampa was a great ride where it actually did not rain! Of course, the thunderstorm clouds are building all around as we are enjoying a %50 chance of thunderstorms today. Traffic moved well all along the commute and I didn't see a single FHP Cruiser out this morning. Have a Great day everyone! LATER
Yesterday found me packing the cooler for some riding around FlatLand. There was a 30% chance of thunderstorms but a 100% chance of fun so I went for it and headed out for the curves and groves of Northeast Pasco county. There were tons of motorcycles out & about taking in the beautiful day and enjoying the shade from the passing clouds that turned dark gray by 1:00pm.
This Mornings Motorcycle Commute to Tampa started out like a fine ride into a brilliant sunrise under some dark & building clouds. On SR54 near Little Road the bottom fell out of the clouds and it dumped a lot of very cold rain on me for about 3 miles before I rode out from under the cloud. Hey, It's Florida Outside! I changed shirts once here at the office
During the Last Prohibition, there were Legal Ways to secure Alcohol. All it took was a visit to your Doctor for a Prescription for Liquor to treat your ailments. This is not a new concept. Prohibition ultimately fails and costs more than legalization and taxation which brings the money into the public coffers instead of the pockets of criminals.
The morning Motorcycle Commute to Tampa was on wet roads once again as showers overnight fell on FlatLand. With a 70% chance of Thunderstorms again today I'm pretty sure I'll get wet again during the commute home this afternoon. Traffic was moderate and there were FHP Cruisers on the Veterans Expressway as well as SR54. It's Friday in FlatLand, and payday to boot! Have a Great Weekend Everyone,
