You girls better hang on!

You think you have girl problems?
From Police say biker fled after losing passenger

Witnesses said Broughton and his passenger, Mary Morris, of Gettysburg, left the parking lot of Earl’s Inn on a motorcycle at 1:44 a.m., Pennsylvania State Police at Gettysburg said.

Shortly after pulling from the parking lot, Broughton accelerated quickly, causing Morris to be thrown from the bike, police said.

Police said Broughton stopped briefly, but then fled east on York Street.

I don’t think there will be a second date.

  1. Sounds like a real loser, maybe Mary should look for a real Man next time.

  2. Wow, that never happens in my “cage": my lovely comfortable, fast, 2005 Corvette “cage".

  3. I’m sorry, Harvey. It must suck to sit in traffic. What does that thing get, 15 mpg? I know the resale value of mid-life crisis cars are crappy, but I am certain you can get a bike like mine (fast, comfortable, and I never sit in traffic) for less than you get for the ‘vette. Ouch! I just thought about what dealer maintenence must cost on that cage.

  4. Oh, traffic sucks, yes, but it’s the sane man’s trade off rather than riding a bike. Anyway, it’s quite comfortable. I’m very curious why you have to take little jabs at people who don’t ride bikes by saying things like mid-life crisis cars and cages? Why do you do that? Do you never drive a car? Even in the rain you ride a bike? Say you’re going to a wedding, or some occasion where you have to dress up in a tux or suit? God, I can think of a million different weather or occasion related instances where I’d rather be in a car. How many great conversations can yo have with a lady or your children on a bike. It’s ridiculous, and I think you know that. but really, what’s with the animosity toward people in cars? I don’t get that.

As for the gas, maintenance, resale value— who cares, I’m rich. Nobody buys a ‘Vette because they need one. I just have always loved ‘Vettes. Anyway, I think it’s something like 25 mpg… technology and all that.
